As the suburbs expanded, many factories were relocated to the suburbs, which eliminated the opportunity that helped antecedent immigrants to rise up from poverty. The advancement of technology and machinery replaced the jobs of many amateurish workers. As more affluent families moved from cities to suburbs, the less-skilled minorities moved into inner-city neighborhoods. due(p) to discrimination, the lack of sub-standard learning and stable employment, many resorted to violence and crime.
